| Author : | Topic: New Collector's vs. Vintage Twinmaster | Bottom |
| Lespaulplayer Posts : 5 |
I have played them both, but not side-by-side. Also, the old Twinmaster was a head that I played through a Budda 1x12 cabinet as well as my 2001 Verbmaster 1x12 combo cabinet. Memories are fragile and take this FWIW, but the differences were slight and nothing to get excited about. MAYBE the new Twin was a little smoother. IMO, an old or new Twinmaster gets the tone, but the new one looks a lot prettier. |

That's what I figured. The new one sure is purty, though! So, there's no "members list" that I can find. I guess you, me, and the moderator are all there is? Anybody lurking, out there? Come on, show yourselves! LOL Anybody else have experience with both amps? |

I've got 3. Two Twinmaster Tens with Metal logo plates, and a Tweed 2x10 model in the modern cabinet. I have not taste tested the collectors edition, but it looks beautiful. I have a lot of amps, maybe 20. I only plug in the Buddas. The rest are heavy and flat-sounding. Why isnt the world on to these things yet? |
