there is a very simple mod that can even up the channels if you are wanting to be able to lean on the clean side some and have the gain side louder... |

Have you tried using any reverb through the effects loop? I've heard that the Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail is really good, for a spring reverb type of sound. I'd also try an Echo. I find that an Echo can give you the "air" around the notes, similar to what Reverb does. But, it doesn't get as "mushy" and lost in the mix. A good analog delay should do the trick, also. If you want to try a really good, (and REALLY inexpensive!) Echo, there's one from Danelectro that costs $15.00 to $20.00. And it sounds pretty good, too! |
